Congressman Keith Ellison Understands Occupy Movement
Congressman Keith Ellison was able to get almost 400,000 views via his Town Hall chat video on YouTube about his thoughts on the Occupy Wall Street Movement.
Rep Ellison (Dem-Minnesota) supports:
Sponsoring Constitutional amendment to “Get Corporate Money Out of Politics” and to reverse Citizen’s United, he say’s in the USA they are not having elections anymore but rather political auctions!
Congressman Keith Ellison endorses Occupy Movement ideology
Obviously not all representatives in US government are completely owned by the multinational corporations. During the next elections voters sympathetic to Occupy Wall Street issues will have to be careful not to throw the baby out with bath water and retain some of those currently in office.
Besides Rep Keith Ellison, Senator Bernie Sanders, Congressman Dennis Kucinich, Congressman Tim Ryan and perhaps Ron Paul and even Elizabeth Warren come to mind that also seem to be speaking out and supporting/endorsing Occupy Movement ideology. Besides those previously mentioned is there anyone else currently holding a US governmental office that should be added to the pro-democracy, pro-constitution pro-Occupy list?
