Seattle is taking part in the West Coast shut down of all ports as part of the West Coast Port Blockade. The protest successfully closed all entry points into the port of Seattle long enough for work to be cancelled for the night.
Protesters sang some holiday songs with the words changes to support the movement. The Occupy protesters did allow and even direct traffic so that workers could leave the port, while the police did keep some workers from leaving.
The police did deploy: Flash bangs, Horses, and pepper spray against the protesters.
