Global Weirding is a Thing
Global Weirding (Noun)
A complementary term to global warming to reflect the belief that climate change causes or will cause various weather-related extremes, including both hot and cold weather, to become more intense.
The increasingly more common drone of Déjà vu like record breaking weather reports gives increasing validity to the statement that the mellow version of global warming featuring only mild climate change is becoming less likely and is being replaced by a scenario that is more dramatic and noticeable by even the most casual observer.
The term Global Weirding is not new it has been reported by the BBC, PBS, New York Times, International research institute CICERO etc. for several years now— the term ‘global weirding, was first coined by Hunter Lovins, co-founder of the Rocky Mountain Institute about ten years ago.
