Cryptocurrency on New York Stock Exchange (NYSE)?
The NYSE’s parent company: the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) has published their list of proposed cryptocurrencies that will comprise their initial Cryptocurrency Data Feed.
NYSE’s parent company lists the cryptocurrency they will track.
Out of the 1000’s of cryptocurrencies they are only starting out with data for 58 individual coins/tokens, but this data will help traders, and hedge funds etc. have an aggregated view of the cryptocurrency market. The ICE cryptocurrency data stream will offer real-time pricing, track orders, execution, and help with portfolio management and trend prediction.
It is not uncommon in the cryptocurrency space for individual coins/tokens to see a fairly substantial price increase with their initial listing on a new exchange. It would also not be a huge leap in logic to suspect that in the future the coins/tokens from ICE’s Cryptocurrency Data Feed would be the first to be listed on the NYSE, when those crypto assets become available.
