USA to Form a New Political Party?

It’s likely way past time for the USA to embrace a new national political party that is more in touch with the needs and desires of the majority of the people.

Four Essential Freedoms Party

New 4 Freedoms political party is just one of the possible new parties to challenge Democrats & Republicans.

The rise of those listed as “Independents” currently far outnumber those that claim affiliation with either the Republicans (founded in 1854) or Democrats (founded in 1828) combined. Other major political parties have attempted to gain popularity the Libertarian Party (founded in 1971) and the Green Party (founded in 2001) have yet to become serious challengers.

The Occupy Wall Street movement provided a unified voice against the status quo, and pointed a finger at several problems that required fixing (even though the mainstream media didn’t report it for obvious reasons).

Media Ignores Occupy Wall Street Protest Message

Many politicians after the Occupy protests did seem to listen and often proclaimed they wanted to make some of the changes the Occupy Movement had brought into focus—but those changes have yet to occur.

However, the rise in popularity of Bernie Sanders and more recently the Justice Democrats are starting to galvanize and encourage sweeping changes in American Politics. Don’t be surprised if Bernie Sanders does it all on his own (poll after poll shows Bernie to be the most popular politician in the USA at the moment) or he may soon even join forces with the Justice Democrats and/or help to create a viable third party option such as the:

4 Freedoms Party
Principle Party
Popular Party
Peoples Party
Berniecrats
Occupy Party
Socialist Party
Etc.

Personally I would like to see something like a 4 Freedoms Party based on:

FDR’s Four Essential Human Freedoms
Franklin D. Roosevelt addressed Congress on January 6, 1941, with a visionary State of the Union speech, where he identified four universal and essential human freedoms.

FDRs Four Essential Freedoms Speech To the World

Freedom of Speech & Expression
Freedom of Worship
Freedom from Want
Freedom from Fear

More from FDR’s visionary state of the union speech:

“In the future days, which we seek to make secure, we look forward to a world founded upon four essential human freedoms.

The first is freedom of speech and expression — everywhere in the world.

The second is freedom of every person to worship God in his own way — everywhere in the world.

The third is freedom from want — which, translated into world terms, means economic understandings which will secure to every nation a healthy peacetime life for its inhabitants — everywhere in the world.

The fourth is freedom from fear — which, translated into world terms, means a world-wide reduction of armaments to such a point and in such a thorough fashion that no nation will be in a position to commit an act of physical aggression against any neighbor– anywhere in the world.

Many of the issues and talking points of: Bernie Sanders, Justice Democrats and Occupy Wall Street easily fit into FDR’s Four Essential Human Freedoms.

Things are about to get interesting.
